Our very first Kickstarter and the pant that started it all, the Bluffworks’ Originals were the lightweight, do-it-all men’s travel pants that were sorely missing in the marketplace. Over time, we’ve evolved and produced even more great technical pieces – like our travel blazers, chinos, and our Threshold collection – but we’ve never forgotten where we came from.

Enter the Envoy: a step up from our Originals, this technical pant breathes like a lightweight travel pant, and reads like a versatile pair of chinos that will get you from here to there, and everywhere in between. Constructed with a heathered, super-lightweight fabric, our durable Envoy pant is packed with features – a moisture wicking, quick drying, wrinkle-resistant wonder, crafted with four-way stretch and a stretchy waistband for maximum comfort.

A low profile pant that’s full of surprises, our Envoy pant includes two front slash pockets, two secure internal zipper pocket, two back zippered pockets, two phone pockets, a secure side seam zipper pocket on the leg, and a convenient key loop on the hip. With a combined total of nine discrete pockets, these lightweight pants offer a ton of options for stashing your phone, passport, cards, and cash.

How do I care for my Envoy products?: Machine wash cold 86° F (30° C) with like colors. Do not bleach. Dry medium heat. Low iron, if needed.
How do I ensure my Envoy products always looks its best?: Remember to remove immediately from the washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case of stains, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
Can my Envoy products be altered?: Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

Well made, some details could be improved
Probably the best manufacturing quality among comparable brands of polyester pants. A little over the top with the pockets, and the inner-pocket zipper pulls are metal and rather scratch on hands and devices. The phone pocket is a stretch for most contemporary phones.

Excellent Quality Overall (Need More Colors Like NAVY)
These are exceptionally well-made pants. Took a couple of tries to get the right fit. Needed a 35 waist when I normally wear 34 (on slim fit). Straight fit is a bit baggy in the rear and thighs, so I tried slim fit. They are very nice but a little to slim near the ankles for my taste.
Hoping they make these very nice lightweight pants in Navy (and create a less baggy "straight" fit).
I get it...the muscle bound crowd whined when they didn't have enough room in the rear and thighs. But for normal folks, we would like a less baggy straight fit.

Great pants!
Also gave a great review to the dressier Ascender pant. The Envoy’s are a bit more casual with a few more zippered pockets which was great for our 12 day trip to the Netherlands. My husband loved the fit, the quality, the functionality and the look. And I love that they are no iron!

Fit Guidance

Regular:

Ease throughout the hips and thigh. Sits just below the natural waist with a straight leg.

Tailored:

Similar ease throughout the hips and thigh as our Regular Fit. Sits just below the natural waist and has a straight leg with slight tapering below the knee.

Slim:

Our most fitted pant through the hips, thigh, and leg. Sits at the hip with a slightly shorter rise and has a narrow, tapered leg throughout.

How to Measure

Neck: Wrap the measuring tape loosely around the base of your neck, keeping one finger between your neck and the tape.

Arm (Spine to Wrist): The arm measurement used for sleeve length is measured from the center back of the neck to wrist. Hold your arm out to the side with your elbow slightly bent, and measure from the back center of your neck (your spine) down the outside of your arm to your wrist bone.

Chest: Wrap the measuring tape around the circumference of your chest at the widest point, approximately 1"/2.5 cm below your armpit. Inhale, exhale, and then place a finger behind the tape. Keep the tape level and snug, but not too tight.

Natural Waist: Bend to the side to find the natural crease of your waist. Wrap the measuring tape at this point, keeping the tape slightly loose.

Waist: Wrap the measuring tape around your waistline (where you want your pants to sit), keeping the tape slightly loose. Bluffworks pants are offered in 1"/2.5 cm increments, so we suggest sizing up if you're between sizes.

Hips: Keep feet together, and wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your seat (approximately 8"/20.3 cm below your natural waist), keeping the tape slightly loose.

Thigh: Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of the thigh (approximately 1"/2.5 cm below the crotch), keeping the tape slightly loose.
