- Machine wash cold 86° F (30° C) inside out, with like colors. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softener. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Low iron, if needed. Do not dry clean.

My raincoat requirements: packable, multiple strategically placed pockets, velcro sleeve closures, & vent holes. The Faroe goes far beyond my requirements. The material has a lightweight yet luxury feel. Numerous pockets, including a hidden zippered pocket [it's BluffWorks after all] are a huge plus. The longer length works for better overall rain protection & the 2 way zipper makes it super comfortable when seated. The packable hood gives it a classier appearance. This would look right at home over a suit. Bought this as part of my travel [and home] layering system and it should fit right in as an essential element to ward off any inclement weather.

I took advantage of the 20% off sale to buy the Faroe Rain Jacket. I have another packable rain jacket but like most, it is only hip-length. I've been looking for a 3/4 length jacket to provide more rain protection and also cover a sports coat should I be wearing one, and this jacket does that. I wouldn't call it stylish, but it looks nicer than most of this type of jacket. It's suitable for business casual.
The first one I received had a defect where the pocket into which the rain jacket stuffs, immediately detached from the jacket. The replacement jacket, which came promptly, seems to be fine.
I'm giving this product 4 stars because the material is fairly thin compared to other rain jackets. Of course, that's what makes it stowable/packable. I'm hoping it will prove durable.

The Jacket looks great! The material and design are super. I haven't a chance to wear it under the rain yet. However, I think it will meet my expectation keeping me dry. However, there is one I thing it needs to improve. The packet attached to the jacket is in a awkward position, which I find it very difficult to fold the jacket into the packet easily.

I really like the Faroe Rain Jacket. The large jacket is a little larger than most large-sized articles of clothing leaving room for wearing a suit coat or felt jacket underneath. I was impressed with its light weight. It easily stuffed into its small, zippered pocket pouch and came back out without wrinkles. Its extra length will be nice in easily protecting pocket areas of trousers and will not show tails of any shirts or jackets I may wear underneath. The pockets are convenient. I bought this jacket for travel. planning to use it both for outdoor activities and for dressier occasions. It will work well as my primary rain jacket where I live. I have yet had the opportunity to test if it is both waterproof and breathable.

I never really like trench coats, too old man, and outdoor shells don’t fit over a sport coat. Also too bulky and stick out when you’re walking around European cities. This jacket is perfect. Suitable to wear over a sport coat or suit jacket. Subtle so you don’t stand out like a tourist. Light and casual for any time. This jacket will always travel with me.

Yes, it is a raincoat, yes it keeps you dry. But it looks like a really smart coat! And obviously the fit over my presidio/gramercy suits is perfect. Definitely would recommend!
